A later printing of the desirable "Complete 1892" edition, colloquially known as the "Deathbed Edition" because of the author's final corrections to the text shortly before his death on March 26, 1892. This edition was printed in 1894 and contains a portrait of the author on pages 28–29. Please read the condition report.
Good Condition. Green Cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Plate with tissue guard to page 28. Ex St. Bedes Hawkesyard Library with only one plate tipped to front pastedown, free from any other library markings. Neat owner's inscription to front free end paper and front pastedown. Wonderful rough-cut edges. Binding is firm and pages are lightly tanned. Tear to leaf 199-200 with no loss. Boards have some light fraying to spine ends and corners. Light markings to front board with slightly more rubbings to rear board. Gilt titles to spine are bright.
